Credit Card Processing.

Customers wanting to pay a retailer for goods and services with a credit or debit card can only do so if the retailer has a merchant account provided by an acquiring bank. Retailers joining Seymour Direct pay the acquiring bank very low transaction charges regardless of whether it’s a Face-to-Face, Mail Order or e-Commerce payment.

All credit and debit card transactions are electronically deposited into the retailer’s business bank account with regular statements showing the payments.

Chip & PIN Terminals, a major aid in the reduction of credit card fraud, are available from as little as £12.68 plus VAT per month. Static desktop terminals need to be mains powered and connected to a telephone line in order to authorise the card transactions via the acquiring bank. Mobile and Portable credit card machines are also available.
